The ARRL Minnesota State Convention attracts amateur radio operators from throughout the Upper Midwest for an all-day learning experience. It is an important educational initiative that aims to develop a pool of radio operators ready to provide emergency communications across Minnesota communities.
The American Radio Relay League (ARRL) is the preeminent national organization supporting US Amateur Radio, partnering with FEMA and state agencies to support disaster response and recovery efforts.
Convention seminars cover diverse operating topics, including digital traffic handling, HF antenna modeling, battery power management, and emergency net protocol, giving operators actionable skills to enhance communication effectiveness during critical incidents.
